RADIATION ONCOLOGY & CANCER METABOLISM LABORATORY

Yu-Chan Chang, Ph.D. 張御展

Associate Professor — appointed August 2024
國立陽明交通大學 生物醫學工程學院 生物醫學影像暨放射學系 Department of Biomedical Imaging and Radiological Sciences, College of Biomedical Science and Engineering, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU)

Our laboratory studies how adaptive metabolic reprogramming shapes the cancer transcriptome and proteome during metastasis and therapy resistance, with a parallel translational focus on the mechanisms driving lung, breast, brain, and hepatobiliary–pancreatic malignancies. We also provide translational pathology support to colleagues across NYCU and Taipei Veterans General Hospital.

Research Focus

Cancer–Macrophage Crosstalk

Tumor microenvironment remodeling through macrophage secretomes and polarization states, and how these signals feed back into tumor cell behavior and immune evasion.

TME · Macrophage Polarization

Metabolic Reprogramming in Cancer

Non-enzymatic and enzymatic roles of aldolase isoforms (ALDOA/ALDOC/ALDOB), the VHL–glycolysis axis, purine/pyrimidine biosynthesis, and lactylation-driven epigenetic regulation in tumor progression.

ALDOA · VHL · Glycolysis

Radiobiology & Translational Pathology

Cellular imaging and histomorphological approaches to radiation response, ferroptosis, and immune infiltration, applied to glioblastoma, cholangiocarcinoma, and renal cell carcinoma.
